Road resource consent approved

Commissioners from the Queenstown Lakes District Council have recently given approval for Waterfall Park Developments Ltd to construct a new 870m road to access the proposed development. The new road and footpath will be safer for both pedestrians and cyclists wanting to enter the Waterfall Park Resort Zone.

In deciding to grant consent, they found the road, with conditions, would not have adverse environmental effects given the significant enhancement planting that is also proposed for the site.
