It’s All Go at Launch Bay

22/07/21

Launch Bay is buzzing at the moment with several projects at different stages of construction and completion.

Construction of Ovation Apartments is progressing well and on schedule. Kalmar Construction has installed the precast walls from the Basement to the Ground floor, poured the Ground floor, completed the main structure from the Ground floor to Level 1, poured Level 1, and are currently working on the structure from Level 1 to Level 3.

These idyllic apartments have attracted lots of buyer attention, with 12 of the 19 apartments sold and only a handful of three-bedroom apartments available.

Now is a great time to visit Launch Bay to see the progress made recently and enjoy everything Hobsonville Point has to offer, including farmers markets on Saturday mornings, cafes and restaurants at Catalina Bay, and the well-used walkways. If time allows, enjoy the stunning Didsbury Art Trail, a 5km coastal walkway around Hobsonville Point, doubling as an outdoor art gallery. Alternatively, there is a shorter loop at Te Onekiritea Point, once known as Bomb Point. Te Onekiritea Point reopened in August 2020 after closing for land remediation. It was once the site of New Zealand’s largest Air Force explosives depot, but today it is a place for the community to roam and enjoy the wide-open space, including a designated fenced dog exercise area.

We are delighted to see our vision for Ovation come to life and Kalmar Construction’s progress to date. Completion of the Ovation is expected August 2022.

The stunning Ovation Apartments start from $1,700,000.
