Early success at Lakeside accelerates next stage release

Nestled on the banks of Lake Waikere and adjoining the existing Te Kauwhata village, Winton’s newest community is taking centre stage. Situated approximately halfway between Hamilton and Auckland, Lakeside’s convenient location is attracting local Waikato buyers and those a little further up SH1 from North and South Auckland.

Winton are proud of what has thoughtfully been designed for residents of the quintessential Kiwi Lakeside community. The vision was to design a high-quality community with innovative house designs at an affordable price point. It has been fantastic to share this vision with potential buyers and subsequently see so many sold on launch.

Due to strong demand, the next stage will be released earlier than planned which will include a small number of additional lake-front sections.

The Lakeside stage one launch was on 17 November 2018 and generated a significant amount of interest. A diverse range of potential buyers came along to see the relaxed rural environment for themselves and take a walk through the architecturally designed display homes.

First home buyers, empty nesters and investors were the first to purchase their piece of the Lakeside community, with 25 properties sold on launch day and 32 properties sold to date. Lake-front sections bordering the recreational lake and overlooking the beautiful Lake Waikere are a hit with buyers, with most stage one lake-front sections now sold.

With stunning views of Lake Waikere and easy access to valuable community facilities, residents will enjoy a vibrant and relaxed lifestyle. The expansive 80 hectare reserve land offers a recreational lake, over 5 kms of walking and cycle paths, sports fields and playgrounds.

Work is already underway on the planned Lakeside Village Centre which will complement the existing strong community and infrastructure of Te Kauwhata town. The Village Centre will include a café, childcare centre, offices, medical centre and playground and will be the central hub of the development.
