Residents move in, making Oval Houses their homes

18/08/20

Lots 9-12 of the Oval Houses are complete, and the new owners have moved into their piece of Launch Bay. While they still may be unpacking boxes, they will be doing so while enjoying their new captivating view out over the Oval green and across the Waitematā Harbour.

As the Oval Houses take shape around the Oval green, foundation work has begun on the stunning Ovation Apartments. As shown in one of the images, vegetation has been cleared to prepare the site, and piling foundation works are complete. Situated on water’s edge and a stone throw from the Catalina Bay markets, Ovation is an exclusive six-story boutique development consisting of nineteen apartments priced from $1,150,000 that offer a range of two and three bedrooms.

The Marlborough, which offers high quality one, two, and three-bedroom apartments, is proving to be popular amongst first home buyers who want to be part of Hobsonville Point’s exclusive Launch Bay precinct. The Marlborough includes apartments in the Axis Series Programme, enabling first home buyers an affordable pathway into Launch Bay. Recently, the first ballot closed oversubscribed, so we look forward to the next ballot where more first home buyers can participate. Apartments start at $500,000 for one-bedroom, $600,000 for two bedrooms, and $650,000 for three bedrooms.

Hobsonville Point continues to be a vibrant community to be a part of, and we are delighted to see our newest residents move in. The Hobsonville Point community is known for its festive and inclusive initiatives to bring people together. The second Winterfest at Hobsonville Point was held mid-July and celebrated Matariki weaving throughout the week. The festival included workshops, shows, movie night, and ended on a high note with the Sparkle Parade on Saturday, which attracted nearly 2,000 people for a cultural evening of entertainment, music, food, and activities.
