In 2020 we opened the 12,000 sqm recreation reserve in the heart of Northlake. Designed and created by Northlake for people of all ages to enjoy.
The reserve includes an asphalt pump track, outdoor gym, basketball half-court, plaza area with a picnic pergola, BBQ, water fountain, multipurpose court marked for futsal and tennis and plenty of flat green space for informal sports.
Cultivating natural interactions and encouraging outdoor activity, the Northlake recreation reserve has become a focal point for Northlake and the wider Wanaka community and a source of fun for many.
