Residents move in, making Oval Houses their homes

Lots 9-12 of the Oval Houses are complete, and the new owners have moved into their piece of Launch Bay. While they still may be unpacking boxes, they will be doing so while enjoying their new captivating view out over the Oval green and across the Waitematā Harbour.

As the Oval Houses take shape around the Oval green, foundation work has begun on the stunning Ovation Apartments. As shown in one of the images, vegetation has been cleared to prepare the site, and piling foundation works are complete. The second Winterfest at Hobsonville Point was held mid-July and celebrated Matariki weaving throughout the week. The festival included workshops, shows, movie night, and ended on a high note with the Sparkle Parade on Saturday, which attracted nearly 2,000 people for a cultural evening of entertainment, music, food, and activities.
